How to Play
•Each day, pick one batter from each team for any MLB game on the schedule — up to 2 picks per game.
•Picks must be made before the game starts. Once first pitch is thrown, your selection is locked in.
•You can swap or remove a pick at any time before that specific game begins.
Scoring
POSITIVE
Single+1 pt
Double+2 pts
Triple+3 pts
Home Run+4 pts
Run Scored+1 pt
RBI+1 pt
Walk+1 pt
Stolen Base+1 pt
NEGATIVE
Strikeout−1 pt
Caught Stealing−1 pt
Fielding Error−1 pt
Example
A batter who hits a home run (+4), scores a run (+1), and drives in 2 RBIs (+2) earns 7 points. A player who strikes out twice (−2) and gets caught stealing (−1) finishes at −3 points.
DP Coins
•Every account starts with 100 DP Coins.
•After all games for a day are finished, your net points for that day are converted 1:1 into DP Coins.
•A positive day adds coins; a negative day deducts coins — but your balance can never go below 0.
•Coins are distributed automatically once every game on the schedule has reached a final state.
Matchups
•Challenge a friend to a head-to-head matchup on any upcoming game day.
•Both players pick batters from the same slate of games. Whoever earns more total points wins.
•You can optionally set a DP Coin wager — deducted from both players when they join and the winner takes the full pot. In the event of a tie, each tied player receives their wager back.
•Matchups lock once any game on that day has started — make your picks before first pitch!
•Results are finalized once all games for that date are complete or postponed.
•If you cancel a matchup before games begin, all accepted participants are refunded their wager.
Daily Challenge
•A free daily challenge is available each day — no wager required to join.
•Pick your players and compete against the DiamondPlays lineup.
•Beat the DiamondPlays total points for the day and earn 50 DP Coins.
•You can join any time before all scheduled games have started.
Leaderboard
•The leaderboard tracks your total points accumulated across the entire season.
•Rankings update as game results come in throughout the day.
•Your rank, total points, and number of picks are all tracked.
Postponed & Canceled Games
•If a game is postponed, it is treated as completed and your pick for that game will not earn points.
•Stats from games that do not reach official status may not be counted.
